The opportunity has arisen for this vacancy within the Social Housing Cleaning department. You will provide a high-quality front-line specialist service focusing on building safety and compliance. You will assist in maintaining and ensuring our buildings are compliant and that people living in, working in or visiting our properties are safe.
Provide a specialist cleaning service, which is complementary to the work of the Cleaning Department generally using equipment, materials and techniques additional to the routine cleaning work.
Assist Management to make void properties available for letting with the least possible delay.
The ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with colleagues and contractors is required as well as tact, diplomacy and the ability to negotiate. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to achieve defined performance targets.
Previous cleaning experience would be advantageous.

The role will contribute to a small and dedicated team and involve taking appropriate enforcement action where necessary. This includes attending court proceedings, committee hearings and dealing with enforcement appeals. Being a confident decision maker and having the ability to engage with all key stakeholders, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism, is key. Dacorum Borough Council operates successful Community Control Centre monitoring a range of services including Closed Circuit Television Cameras. The key to success depends on those employed in the control room. The control room operates 24 hour a day, 365 days a year.
We are looking for a keen enthusiastic person with good observation and computer skills. The job is primarily to operate the CCTV system and other equipment (radio links), but will include other duties such as the recording of information, writing reports and other basic administration tasks.
The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours on a 24 hour per day, 365 days per year shift pattern, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
An SIA qualification in CCTV is essential.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for this vacancy within the Property Service Planned and Adaptations team.
You will be required to provide a specification and scope of work for capital planned works based on recommendations provided by Hertfordshire County Council, NHS and Hospital Occupational Therapists teams.
Budget monitoring and adhering to planned programmes are essential to successful delivery of the works. Experience of delivering adaptations to tenanted and void properties is desirable including knowledge of CDM 2015, Building Regulations, Decent Homes Standard and The Equalities Act 2010.
The ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with colleagues and contractors is required as well as tact, diplomacy, ability to negotiate and achieve defined performance targets. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to assist in the management of complex customer complaint resolutions and management of expectations. Good organisational skills are needed to manage your own workload, providing regular and clear updates and feedback to the team for audit and progress purposes.
