Clean, Safe and Green is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Supervisor to work within the Clean, Safe and Green Team. The successful individual will supervise the day-to-day operations of the Area Teams, ensuring the delivery of an effective and efficient service, which meets council’s standards.
You will be required to liaise with a number of stakeholders including Local and Parish Councillors, MPs, County Council Officers, Community Groups and residents as well as providing advice to the Management Team.
You must have achieved a NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in leadership or supervisory skill, and have 2 years post qualification supervisory experience in the grounds maintenance or street care field. You must have the ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with colleagues and contractors is required as well as tact, diplomacy and the ability to negotiate. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to achieve defined performance targets.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Dacorum Borough Council to join the Trees and Woodlands team as a Tree Surveyor, helping to manage trees located throughout the borough.
As Tree Surveyor you will be responsible for inspecting trees in parks, public open spaces, and housing areas. You will record tree inspections digitally in Ezytreev tree management software, noting details of tree condition, and recommending appropriate pruning works.
You will work alongside colleagues in the Trees & Woodlands team in relation to tree inspection and enquiries about trees, and on occasion may be required to assist in related tree management duties, such as emergency call out work.
You will need to have effective communication skills for working in public spaces and engaging with tenants and local residents.
The successful applicant will be trained to LANTRA Professional Tree Inspection (or equivalent) standard, have proven experience and knowledge of tree surveying and in the use of Ezytreev tree inspection systems.
