We deal with a wide range of planning and environmental issues and are a committed team that has a strong record of taking proactive enforcement.
The team use their full range of skills in an effective and innovative way to secure improvements for residents across Dacorum Borough. You will possess strong persuasion, negotiation and communication skills and will be adept at advising customers on how to achieve compliance and ensure that assessments of harm and expediency are conducted appropriately.
The role will contribute to a small and dedicated team and involve taking appropriate enforcement action where necessary. This includes attending court proceedings, committee hearings and dealing with enforcement appeals. Being a confident decision maker and having the ability to engage with all key stakeholders, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism, is key. This is a real opportunity for the right person to join a strong, efficient team whose focus is to deliver a high-quality service.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for this vacancy within the Property Service Planned and Adaptations team.
You will be required to provide a specification and scope of work for capital planned works based on recommendations provided by Hertfordshire County Council, NHS and Hospital Occupational Therapists teams.
Budget monitoring and adhering to planned programmes are essential to successful delivery of the works. Experience of delivering adaptations to tenanted and void properties is desirable including knowledge of CDM 2015, Building Regulations, Decent Homes Standard and The Equalities Act 2010.
The ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with colleagues and contractors is required as well as tact, diplomacy, ability to negotiate and achieve defined performance targets. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to assist in the management of complex customer complaint resolutions and management of expectations. Good organisational skills are needed to manage your own workload, providing regular and clear updates and feedback to the team for audit and progress purposes.

The opportunity has arisen for this vacancy within the Neighbourhood Delivery Service Administration team. You will provide a high-quality front-line service focusing on basic clerical duties and responding to service requests from internal and external customers. You will assist in managing multiple mailboxes and make calls back as and when required to close enquiries directly from residents and from other departments.
You will be required to successfully manage and produce information onto spreadsheets for internal performance use and external audits. You will work with colleagues across the administration team and within Neighbourhood Delivery to ensure we offer an exceptional service to our residents.
